Spring Training! If you have ever seen the movie 'Fever Pitch'..That would be Matt!!!
His parents sent us to AZ for Spring Training as our Christmas present. They watched the kids and we went on our way! It was so fun! We went to games on Friday and Saturday. After Fridays game ...This is us in the Giants dug-out

Then onto the field....This is Matt at home plate with his tiny bat!
Then we ate dinner with some of the team and an announcer and after we were able to get autographs and pics! Matt was in heaven! He LOVES baseball and the GIANTS are his Favorite team!
These are some of the pics I got from our seats. I like the one of the pitcher (Romo) he was at the dinner the night before and he was really nice! Matt got his autograph on a ball too. We left with lots of signed stuff from lots of different players. It was a nice get away and thank you to Matt's parents for it! I'm sure my little ones gave them a run for their money all weekend!
I am pretty jealous. Clay and I are baseball fanatics and would love to to something like that! We make it to a few games a year, but it isn't nearly enough in my book. Did you paint your faces? kidding!
ReplyDeleteDude baseball, so let me be more specific...the Giants for matt is like Candy for a kid. Thats awesome that he gets to do that. Im jealous and I dont even care about baseball..haha. I just want the vacation alone with no kids! Glad that you guys had a good time.
ReplyDeleteThat is all Matt talked about the whole time I was in the dentist chair yesterday. He was very disappointed I didn't know who one of the players he got a autograph from was. Even now can't remember his name. Sorry Matt!! Glad you had so much fun!
