Happy 3rd b-day Jordyn

Our little princess turned 3 on the 3rd! (I know, I'm a little late with this post!!) This was her in her b-day outfit..

This is what she woke up to..(when Matt has to work on their b-day, he likes to leave little extra treats for during the day..he went out and bought the Oreos because she likes to eat the middle out of them, and the donuts is her breakfast of choice!)
Then, the next day (Friday) we had a Pink Princess Party! complete with Royal PINK carpet!! All of her little friends dressed in their princess attire, or PINK!

She even had a few ROYAL visitors that came to share her special day with her! (ftwishes.com) These Princesses were AMAZING!! They really did a great job to get into character, and the little girls LOVED them. They ran the whole party and made it so nice for me to be able to watch and have fun!

Her brothers were even good sports and wore PINK and helped all the little princesses!

Jordy loved the Royal guests! The look on her face when they arrived was well worth it!
..and this brings us to the cake....my first attempt at fondant icing. I think it turned out ok (considering that I did it at midnight the night before with only and idea (thanks Cake Boss) as to how to do it!) It was a fun day..after her friends went home, we had a family party complete with princess bounce house. Lots of people supported the PINK theme too!
We love you Jordyn..thanks for the splash of PINK in our house. We love your little personality and your "spunk'! Happy Birthday love bugs!

  6. How fun to have the princesses come. Crazy thing is I swear "Belle" is a girl in my ward.

The firework show sounds like it was a hit as well.

I don't know about you, but I'm not ready for summer to end. We are still finishing up our school shopping this week. We do the same thing with a special date with Mom and Dad. Lincoln {our oldest} picked Sushi this year and I hate Sushi, but it's his day. Seriously I'd take the food court over Sushi, but what's a mother for if not to sacrifice for her children, right???
