Every year for the past 5yrs we go out out to the Moapa Indian Reservation. Our group initially started off with us, the Demilles, Petersons, and mine and Matts family. It has GROWN! Every year it gets bigger and bigger. More family and more friends. Matt and Justin supply a WONDERFUL fireworks show when it gets dark. We all meet out there a few hours before dark to eat and then watch the show.
This was just Matt's family in attendance. We had about 75 people out there this year!
These 2 guys are the Head Pirotechnicians. They plan all year and make several trips to buy the fireworks. They are illegal to light off anywhere else (hence why we drive for an hour to do this!)
This year we had shirts made up for the "crew" and the head guys had their own distinct shirts. Their Wholesale name is W-D Fireworks (for Weaver/Demille) and their catch phrase was "Light It Up!", so that's what was on the shirts.
This was my cute nephew..he was nervous about the sparklers, but he got it! Here is a small sample of the show. this was the first few seconds of the show. They did a fantastic job this year! Way to go guys!!
