Sorry, but I forgot my camera, so there are NO pictures. We took Scott school clothes shopping last night. Every year we take the kids, one-by-one, out to dinner of their choice and shopping for clothes and a new pair of shoes. This year was supposed to Be Jordyn's turn first, then Scott, then Drew. But somehow these boys have convinced her to go last! So last night we ate at the FOOD COURT (I really am going to have to start giving options to pick from) and then off to Foot Locker (for his most favorite apparel....Basketball clothes!) We compromised that he can wear basketball shorts if he does his hair and wears a polo shirt so he looks a little nicer! After a couple hours, we ended with some nice shorts and shirts, a new Michael Jordan backpack (thanks to his father's addiction to MJ) and a pair of tennis shoes.
He had a great time! He kept thanking us and told us he loved doing this. I love getting to see their personalities when they are alone. Really, they are so fun!
We were up in Brian Head this past weekend for a family reunion and his grandpa and uncle asked him if he was having a fun summer. He told them yes, but his favorite thing hadn't happened yet. They asked him what that was and he said, "school clothes shopping!"
I love it when they get excited about stuff like spending time alone with us! I LOVE these little guys! Thanks Scott for a great evening!
