Yahoo! We made it! He was 37.1wks (which is considered full term!)

6Lbs. 4oz. 19.in. born @ 8:14am

Thank you Dr.Iriye for getting us to 37wks and being in town for the delivery!!

My water broke around 4:20am but I didn't have contractions. so I woke Matt up and called the hospital. They told me to come in, so we called Matt's mom to come over and the Brian to come sit for a few minutes until she could get here. We got to the hospital and in a room at 6am. My nurses were great! They only had an hour and a half left of their shift, but they got me all set up with fluids, grabbed the anesthesiologist before she went into a c-sect, and had me all ready before they even drew my blood! They went and found me a "great" nurse to take their place and it was the nurse from 2weeks ago. She was actually really great! She came in, checked me and I was a 6 so she called Dr.Iriye. He got there a few minutes later and ordered some pitocin thinking it would be about an hour...5minutes later they were paging him for delivery. The baby had a really big decel so they put me on my side and gave me oxygen and he was crowning. If he hadn't made it back to the room so fast she would have delivered the baby herself! The nice thing is that I didn't even know any of that! However...my epidural worked SO well, that I had NO feeling in my lower half! When they put me on my side, I had to grab the bed and move my upper half, while the nurse moved my lower half. It was a really weird feeling!

Our kids were really excited! They knew we had him right before school started, but the younger kids waited until Scott got out of school to come see him.They were all really cute to see him! The timing of his delivery was perfect! I'm so grateful that he and I are safe, I didn't have a stroke during delivery and I didn't have to have Magnesium! He is such a cute little boy.
